Good Sam's Clinical Ladder

Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Services offer a clinical ladder for our therapists and assistants. The following positions are available:

Senior Therapist or Assistant

  • Requires 2 years of experience
  • Must meet or exceed behavioral standards
  • Opportunities include facilitating or assisting in specialty programs, participating in hospital wide committees, mentoring less experienced staff, working on projects for program development, etc.

Clinical Specialist—specific

  • Requires 4 years of experience
  • Expertise in an area of therapy such as Stroke, SCI, Manual Therapy, Wound Care or other subspecialties
  • Opportunities include teaching and mentoring related to their area of expertise to department, hospital, and system wide staff, working on projects for program development, etc.

Clinical Specialist—general

  • Requires 4 years of experience
  • Is responsible for assisting in the operations for the department
  • Opportunities also include providing general mentoring and teaching and acting as a liaison for his/her profession to management.
