Annual Fund Physician Campaign
Giving: The Power to Heal is a yearly campaign for our physicians and associates to support MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. Your donations are used to support the care that MedStar Good Samaritan is able to provide to its patients, their families and the communities we serve. Our goal is to surpass last year’s participation and achieve 140 physician participants!
Philanthropy has made a big impact in the last year at MedStar Good Samaritan. During that time, $1.6 million was donated in support and over $9 million in charitable care was given to our neighbors in need. Unrestricted dollars raised during the campaign support inpatient hospital visits, home care, physician services and critical supplies and medical equipment for our disadvantaged patients.
An anonymous donor will also match $10 for the first 70 physician gifts and $25 thereafter! You can donate online today or return donation forms via mail or interoffice carrier. To arrange for your form to be conveniently picked up, please email naisha.vinson@medstar.net or call 443-444-3945.
Good to Know Facts About the Annual Fund Physician Campaign
• Did you know that physician philanthropic support is vital in securing individual donor support? These gifts lead by example and help make the case that we share in the importance of the services we provide.
• All payroll deduction pledge payments begin January 6, 2013 and will occur for either 26 or 24 pay periods in 2013—whichever is applicable to you. You will be able to view the deduction amount on your paystub, as well as your year-to-date contribution.
• If you would like your gift to benefit a specific program, please contact the Philanthropy Office at 443-444-3945. We will be happy to make arrangements for your gift to make an impact in the area you are most interested.
