Dana Frank, M.D.

Department of Medicine

 

Dr. Dana Frank earned his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He went on to complete both his internship and residency in medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Kaiser Foundation. In addition, Dr. Frank completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Frank was named chairman of medicine at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in March of 2009. He had the honor of receiving the strongest recommendation given by MedStar Good Samaritan's search committee. In addition to a reputation for working closely with primary care physicians from the community, Dr. Frank is also a noted educator and serves an as assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Good to Know:  Dr. Frank believes in promoting excellence in clinical care while at the same time reaching out to members of the local community to better understand their healthcare needs. He believes patient education is important so that each individual understands their options and what they can do to improve their health.
